Trek To Your New Home

Trek to Teach currently has three schools involved with the program. Each school, and the surrounding village, has been visited by a Trek to Teach representative and has been interviewed and approved. To arrive at the school’s village, the teacher must trek at least four hours. Often, the treks will include steep uphill and downhill paths. Sometimes, you will ascend for hours at a time, this is the Himalayas! Learn more about your trek to the school!

You will be required to do this long trek to enter the village and to exit the village. If you are interested in expanding your trek, read more about your trekking options.

Our participating schools are along the short circuit in Annapurna. The teacher will have the option of taking the longer path of four days to arrive at the school. We recommend this option as the path will cross many spectacular views of the nearby mountains, although there are shorter alternatives as well.
