Trek with Trek to TeachOur teachers have consistently called it one of the best decisions they’ve ever made.

Step away from a life distressed and distracted by technology and into the adventure of a lifetime. Live in the Himalayas and remind yourself of what you truly value.

You and our team will trek 4-5 days on the beautiful Annapurna Circuit to your remote rural village, where you, living with a host family, will spend the next few months teaching English in the local school.

During your time teaching, you will build lasting relationships with your students, community and travelers from all around the world. Wake up morning in the shadow of the Himalayan Mountains, with a mug tea in your hand, and the satisfaction of having given back to a beautiful community.

Each day you spend teaching your students will give you greater confidence in your own communication and teaching skills, and give your students greater opportunity to reach their goals and dreams. Your diverse talents and interests can shine through in your teachings as you teach students English and share in their passion for learning.

Trek to Teach also offers many additional opportunities for exploration. Near the villages are hot springs, gorgeous trekking paths through forests and river valleys, and trekking at world-famous Annapurna Base Camp and the Annapurna Circuit. You’ll have plenty of natural beauty to keep you busy. Nepal also offers unique areas like Everest Base Camp, Chitwan National Park, and Kathmandu’s Monkey Temple (Swayambhunath), which you can easily travel to before or after your time teaching.

Trek to Teach is an opportunity for you to live in the moment and you will remember it for a lifetime. Be adventurous, explore the world, and enjoy yourself – 20 years from now, how will you want to remember this era of your life?
